„Der Duft einer Frau, die die Zeit durchquert, um auch unserer Zeit Hoffnung zu geben“ Liebe Schwestern und liebe Brüder, Am 10. Juli begann das Jubiläumsjahr mit der Feier des 400. Jahrestages der Entdeckung der Reliquien unserer Schutzpatronin Rosalia Sinibaldi. Seit über vier Jahrhunderten lebt unsere Stadt mit Blick auf Monte Pellegrino unter der wachsamen Obhut dieser weisen und wunderbaren Frau des Glaubens. Laut der Erzählung derjenigen, die bei der Ausgrabung anwesend waren – einfache Bürger, Seeleute, Ordensbrüder – unter der Leitung von Geronima la Gattuta verströmte dieser Hügel am 15. “Il profumo di una donna che attraversa il tempo per dare speranza anche al nostro tempo” Carissime Sorelle e carissimi Fratelli, lo scorso 10 luglio ha avuto inizio l’anno giubilare per celebrare il IV centenario dal ritrovamento delle reliquie della nostra Santa Patrona, Rosalia Sinibaldi. Da oltre quattro secoli, guardando il Monte Pellegrino, la nostra Città vive sotto la vigile custodia di questa donna di fede, saggia e meravigliosa.
