Appointments on Saturday 13 July – 400th Feast of S. Rosalia

7.30am Mass. 5.30pm Rosary and Litany of Santa Rosalia. 6.00 pm Mass presided over by His Excellency Monsignor Luigi Renna, Archbishop of Catania, with the presence of the relic of the veil of Saint Agatha. The Consecrated Life present in the Diocese is invited to participate in the celebration. The celebration is animated by the S. Sebastiano choir of the Municipal Police, directed by Maestro Serafina Sandovalli. 9.00 pm Eucharistic Adoration in the Cathedral animated by the Archbishop’s Seminary with the participation of the City’s lay groups, movements and associations. The Rector of the Seminary Don Antonio Mancuso presides. The Cathedral remains open for personal veneration of the relics of St. Rosalia until 11.00 pm.

Zur Teilnahme an der Feier sind die mit der Gesundheitspastoral verbundenen Einrichtungen, Laienverbände, außerordentliche Pfarrer, eingesetzte Pfarrer und Ministranten eingeladen. Der Chor der Pfarrei S. Pio 21.00 Uhr Musical/Oratorium Rosalia Festìnans von Emanuele Amorello und Cosimo Scordato in drei Akten (gekürzte Fassung) für Solisten, Chor und Instrumente.
