EUCHARISTIC ADORATION FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE

WEDNESDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2022 AT 21.00 – CATHEDRAL OF PALERMO This is a community gesture of solidarity promoted by the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences for the Ukrainian people, plagued by war for several months now, so that they may be freed from the scourge of war and hatred. The Cathedral parishes, St. Hippolytus and St. Stanislaus, together, will pray for peace in Ukraine, gathering in the liturgical feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross to unite in communion of spirit with all the Churches of Europe to implore from God the gift of lasting peace on our continent.

MERCOLEDÌ 14 SETTEMBRE 2022 ORE 21.00 – CATTEDRALE DI PALERMO Si tratta di un gesto comunitario di solidarietà promosso dal Consiglio delle conferenze episcopali d’Europa per il popolo ucraino, flagellato dalla guerra ormai da vari mesi, perché sia liberato dal flagello della guerra e dell’odio. Le parrocchie Cattedrale, S. Ippolito e S. Stanislao, insieme, pregheranno per la pace in Ucraina, ritrovandosi nella festa liturgica della Esaltazione della Santa Croce per unirsi in comunione di spirito con tutte le Chiese d’Europa per implorare da Dio il dono di una pace duratura nel nostro continente. Continuano le visite serali a settembre, vi aspettiamo sabato 10, dalle 20.30 alle 00.00 (ultimo ingresso 23.30) al Complesso Monumentale della Cattedrale e al Museo Diocesano di Palermo In Cattedrale si possono visitare: – Tetti – Tesoro con la corona di Costanza d’Aragona; – Cripta, con le tombe degli Arcivescovi di Palermo; – Tombe reali; – Sotterranei; – Cappella dei Beneficiali. Dai tetti, si ammira la Città di #Palermo dall’alto con le sue splendide ricchezze paesaggistiche e monumentali, e si possono osservare da vicino gli elementi architettonici ed artistici delle pareti esterne della Cattedrale. TRADITIONELLE „ACCHIANATA“-NACHT IN MONTE PELLEGRINO

Samstag, 3. September um 20.00 Uhr Versammlung am Fuße des Monte Pellegrino, um um 20.30 Uhr die Wallfahrt entlang der alten Straße zur Wallfahrtskirche Santa Rosalia zu beginnen. Der Diözesandienst für die Jugendpastoral wird die “Acchianata” beleben und um 24.00 Uhr die Heilige Messe beenden, die vom Erzbischof von Palermo S.E. Mons.Corrado Lorefice.
