„Rosalia, Protectora et Patrona“: Eröffnung der Ausstellung in der Kathedrale von Palermo am Samstag, 25. Mai 2024

Anlässlich des 400. Jahrestages der Entdeckung der Reliquien von Santa Rosalia hat die historisch-künstlerische Abteilung des Diözesanausschusses, die vom Erzbischof von Palermo S.E. Mons. Corrado Lorefice schuf die Ausstellung ROSALIA PROTECTORA ET PATRONA. Die Einweihung findet am Samstag, 25. Mai 2024, um 10.00 Uhr in der Kathedrale von Palermo im Beisein des Erzbischofs statt. Die Ausstellung, die in den Räumlichkeiten der Schatzkammer der Kathedrale stattfindet, umfasst mehr als 130 Werke, darunter Gemälde, Skulpturen, Juwelen, Silber, Korallen, Stoffe, Wachse und Gravuren sowie wertvolle Artefakte, die einen Schwerpunkt auf das Bild von Santuzza legen, das in Sizilien vorherrschend verehrt wird , zwischen der Mitte des 17. und 20. On the occasion of the fourth centenary of the discovery of the relics of Santa Rosalia, the historical-artistic section of the Diocesan Committee appointed by the Archbishop of Palermo H.E. Mons. Corrado Lorefice created the exhibition ROSALIA PROTECTORA ET PATRONA. The inauguration will take place on Saturday 25 May 2024 at 10.00 in the Cathedral of Palermo in the presence of the Archbishop. ROSALIAN JUBILEE YEAR / Unveiling of the statue of the 400th Feast of Santa Rosalia

The statue of Santa Rosalia will be unveiled on Sunday 26 May and will then be placed on the triumphal chariot during the re-enactment of the events of 1624 scheduled for the evening of 14 July.
