“Il profumo di una donna che attraversa il tempo per dare speranza anche al nostro tempo” Carissime Sorelle e carissimi Fratelli, lo scorso 10 luglio ha avuto inizio l’anno giubilare per celebrare il IV centenario dal ritrovamento delle reliquie della nostra Santa Patrona, Rosalia Sinibaldi. Da oltre quattro secoli, guardando il Monte Pellegrino, la nostra Città vive sotto la vigile custodia di questa donna di fede, saggia e meravigliosa. Secondo la narrazione di coloro che furono presenti allo scavo – comuni cittadini, marinari, frati – guidati da Geronima la Gattuta, il 15 luglio del 1624 da quel tumulo si sprigionò un intenso profumo di fiori che suscitò la meraviglia dei presenti.
