COMPLETATO IL RIFACIMENTO, SECONDO IL DISEGNO ORIGINALE, DELLE VETRATE DELLA CATTEDRALE LUNGO LE PARETI DELLA NAVATA CENTRALE E DEL TRANSETTO

Nei giorni precedenti il Natale sono state collocate le vetrate artistiche piombate delle 22 finestre della navata centrale e dei transetti della Cattedrale. Ogni finestra include 4 vetrate per un totale di 88. Di queste, 53 sono state rifatte con disegno identico a quelle esistenti e anche queste sono state oggetto di manutenzione per sostituire il piombo, già vetusto dopo circa 60 anni dalla loro realizzazione. Queste, lungo gli anni, si sono rotte a seguito del deterioramento del piombo, a causa degli agenti atmosferici e delle intemperie che ne hanno causato la rottura e sono state sostituite con vetri, di colore uno diverso dall’altro, creando purtroppo una “varietà” di sfumature, sia del colore che della stessa fattura…

Auch Josef aus Galiläa, aus der Stadt Nazareth, zog nach Judäa in die Stadt Davids, die Bethlehem heißt: Er gehörte tatsächlich zum Haus und zur Familie Davids.
