Maria era quella che cosparse di profumo il Signore e gli asciugò i piedi con i suoi capelli; suo fratello Lazzaro era malato. Le sorelle mandarono dunque a dire a Gesù: «Signore, ecco, colui che tu ami è malato». + Aus dem Johannes-Evangelium (Kurzform) (11, 1 – 45) Damals war ein gewisser Lazarus aus Bethanien, dem Dorf der Maria und ihrer Schwester Martha, krank. Maria war diejenige, die den Herrn mit Parfüm salbte und seine Füße mit ihrem Haar abwischte; sein Bruder Lazarus war krank. + Aus dem Johannes-Evangelium ( 9, 1 – 41) Damals sah Jesus vorbeikommend einen von Geburt an blinden Mann und seine Jünger fragten ihn: „Rabbi, wer hat gesündigt, er oder seine Eltern, weil er blind geboren wurde?“. Jesus antwortete: “Weder er noch seine Eltern haben gesündigt, sondern damit die Werke Gottes an ihm offenbar werden. Wir müssen die Werke dessen tun, der mich gesandt hat, solange es Tag ist; dann kommt die nacht, wo niemand handeln kann.
