+ Aus dem Johannesevangelium (3, 16 – 18) Damals sagte Jesus zu Nicodèmo: „Gott hat die Welt so sehr geliebt, dass er seinen einzigen Sohn hingab, damit jeder, der an ihn glaubt, nicht verloren geht, sondern ewiges Leben hat. Tatsächlich hat Gott seinen Sohn nicht in die Welt gesandt, um die Welt zu verurteilen, sondern damit die Welt durch ihn gerettet wird. Wer an ihn glaubt, wird nicht verurteilt; Wer aber nicht glaubt, ist bereits verurteilt, weil er nicht an den Namen des eingeborenen Sohnes Gottes geglaubt hat. Wort des Herrn.
