Wir bereiten uns auf die traditionelle Wallfahrt nach Santa Rosalia vor. Die Tradition des Aufstiegs nach Montepellegrino ist viel älter als die Ereignisse der Pest. Die ältesten dokumentierten Zeugnisse der Verehrung in der Höhle des Heiligen stammen aus dem Jahr 1180 (10 Jahre nach dem Tod von Rosalia).
