The Cathedral’s pastor has been transferred to another parish.

Dear parishioners of the Cathedral, as some appointments made by our Archbishop for several parishes are being made public, I would like to inform you that I too am affected. I am being transferred from the Cathedral to the parish of Sant’Espedito on Via Nicolò Garzilli in Palermo. Father Luciano Fricano, currently pastor of the parish of S. Basilio Magno in Palermo, will be there, and I wish him success in his new role. Liebe Gemeindemitglieder der Kathedrale, da einige Ernennungen unseres Erzbischofs für mehrere Pfarreien öffentlich gemacht werden, möchte ich Sie darüber informieren, dass auch ich betroffen bin. Ich werde von der Kathedrale in die Pfarrei Sant’Espedito in der Via Nicolò Garzilli in Palermo versetzt. Pater Luciano Fricano, derzeit Pfarrer der Pfarrei S. Basilio Magno in Palermo, wird dort sein, und ich wünsche ihm viel Erfolg in seiner neuen Aufgabe. Il parroco della Cattedrale trasferito ad altra parrocchia.

Carissimi parrocchiani della Cattedrale, nel momento in cui vengono rese pubbliche alcune nomine, per le quali il nostro Arcivescovo ha provveduto a favore di alcune parrocchie, vi informo che tra queste nomine sono coinvolto anche io. Vengo trasferito dalla Cattedrale alla parrocchia di Sant’Espedito in via Nicolò Garzilli a Palermo. Verrà qui don Luciano Fricano, sinora parroco della parrocchia S. Basilio Magno in Palermo, al quale auguro buon lavoro. Dopo 14 anni di servizio al Signore in questa bellissima Comunità e circondato da tanti carissimi fedeli è giunto il momento di sciogliere le tende e andare lì dove il Signore ora mi chiama a servirlo.
