The monumental area includes Roofs, Royal Tombs, Crypt, Apses, Treasury, Undergrounds and the newly opened Beneficial Chapel. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the visit at the Cathedral ticket office, or online on the website https://www.ticket-shop-cattedraledipalermo.it. Tickets purchased online can be used on any opening day of the Monumental Area, they do not expire until they are used. L’area monumentale comprende Tetti, Tombe reali, Cripta, Absidi, Tesoro, Sotterranei e Cappella dei Beneficiali di nuova apertura. Juli 2021 mit der Wiedereröffnung des “Diözesanmuseums von Palermo und der Räume der Bischöfe” kann im TicketOffice des Monumentalbereichs die Eintrittskarte in verschiedenen Kombinationen für letztere erworben werden. In der Ausstellung unveröffentlichte Werke und Routen in einem neuen Layout basierend auf dem wissenschaftlichen Projekt von Prof. Pierfrancesco Palazzotto, der Leitung von Mons. Filippo Sarullo und der Vorbereitung der Superintendenz des BB.CC.AA. von Palermo.
