TUESDAY, JULY 7

7:30 AM – 6:00 PM Holy Mass.
4:30 PM “In the Footsteps of the Santuzza”: a unique historical, artistic, and spiritual journey through the real places where the young noblewoman experienced her inner revolution. A four-stage itinerary with narrations and songs of the Triumphs of the “Santuzza.” Reservations can be made through the Federico II Foundation website.
9:00 PM Eucharistic Adoration in the Cathedral Square, led by the Palermo Archdiocesan Seminary together with the parishes of the Pastoral Area.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 8

7:30 AM Holy Mass.
9:30 AM “The Way of Rosalia”: A guided walk led by guests of “Caritas” among the votive shrines of Santa Rosalia.
4:30 PM “In the Footsteps of the Santuzza”: A unique historical, artistic, and spiritual itinerary through the real places where the young noblewoman experienced her inner revolution. A four-stage itinerary with narrations and songs of the Triumphs of the “Santuzza.” Reservations can be made through the Federico II Foundation website.
6:00 PM Holy Mass celebrated at the Church of Sant’Agostino on Via F. Raimondo. Followed by a tribute to the first votive shrine dedicated to the “Santuzza” in Piazza Monte di Pietà.

THURSDAY, JULY 9

7:30 AM Holy Mass.
5:00 PM Offering of wax to the “Santuzza” with the participation of the Mayor, the Confraternities, and the faithful. Route: Piazza Pretoria, Piazza Villena, Corso Vittorio Emanuele. This is followed by the opening of the Senatorial Chapel, the exit of the silver urn of the Patron Saint, and the gift of the votive lamp by the mayor.

6:00 PM Holy Mass led by the San Sebastiano Choir of the Municipal Police, conducted by Maestro Serafina Sandovalli.

9:00 PM His Excellency the Most Reverend Corrado Lorefice, Archbishop of Palermo, welcomes representatives of the various religions to the Cathedral with a Fraternity Concert.

The Cathedral remains open for personal veneration of the relics of Saint Rosalia until 11:00 PM.

FRIDAY, JULY 10

7:30 AM Holy Mass.
9:30 am “The Way of Rosalia”: Guided walk by guests of “Caritas” among the votive shrines of Santa Rosalia.
12:00 pm “Inauguration of the Exhibition” by the Artist-Students of the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo in the presence of His Excellency Archbishop Corrado Lorefice of Palermo, Dr. Umberto De Paola, Director of the Academy, and teachers.
The urn of Santa Rosalia visits the Roccella – Sperone – Brancaccio Pastoral Area.
5:30 pm Arrival of the urn containing the relics at the Parish of Maria SS. delle Grazie – Roccella, Corso dei Mille 1085/b. Welcoming celebration for the “Santuzza”.
7:00 pm Holy Mass presided over by His Excellency Archbishop Corrado Lorefice of Palermo.
12:00 AM Tour of the seven churches organized by the Youth Ministry and the Vocations Office of the Archdiocese of Palermo.

SATURDAY, JULY 11

7:30 AM Holy Mass.
9:30 AM “The Way of Rosalia”: guided walk by guests of “Caritas” among the votive shrines of Saint Rosalia.
6:00 PM Holy Mass with the presence of the parishes of the IV Pastoral Zone of the III Vicariate: Our Lady of the Assumption, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Saint Clare of Assisi and Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, Saint Stephen the Protomartyr, Holy Spirit, Our Lady of Lourdes, Saint Agnes.

The Cathedral remains open for personal veneration of the relics of Saint Rosalia until 11:00 PM.

SUNDAY, JULY 12

9:30 a.m. “The Way of Rosalia”: guided walk by guests of “Caritas” among the votive shrines of Santa Rosalia.
5:30 p.m. Holy Rosary and Litany of Santa Rosalia.
6:00 p.m. Holy Mass with the presence of the parishes of the III Pastoral Zone of the IVicariato: Maria SS. Mediatrice, San Basilio, San Carlo Borromeo, SS. Crocifisso – Pietratagliata, S. Oliva.
9:00 p.m. Electric concert with Adoration in the Cathedral square performed by “Reale”.

MONDAY, JULY 13

9:30 a.m. Artists and students from the two-year and three-year Graphic Art program at the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo draw Saint Rosalia in the Cathedral square. 1:00 p.m.: Awards ceremony in the presence of Archbishop Corrado Lorefice and Dr. Umberto De Paola, Director of the Academy. Project curators: Professor D’Alessandro, Professor S. Amato, and Professor L. Dioguardi.
11:00 a.m.: Holy Mass presided over by His Excellency Archbishop Corrado Lorefice, Archbishop of Palermo, for the Municipal Administration at the former Oratory of S. Mattia ai Crociferi – Via Torremuzza 18/B.
5:30 p.m.: Holy Rosary and Litany of Saint Rosalia.
6:00 PM Holy Mass with the participation of the parishes of the IV Pastoral Zone of the IV Vicariate: Maria SS. Della Chiesa, Gesù Giuseppe e Maria, San Giuseppe ai Leoni, Santa Maria delle Nazioni in Sant’Eugenio Papa.
7:30 PM Lyric-Symphonic Concert “Rosalia Panormi Gloria” performed by the Laudate Dominum Choir and the Bequadro Symphony Orchestra. Maestro Salvatore Di Blasi conducts.

6.30 pm Musical entertainment in the cathedral square and tour through the streets of the historic center by the “A. Marinuzzi” musical cultural association of the city of Palermo by Giovanni and Salvatore Bottino.
7.00 pm Solemn Pontifical Vespers presided over by H.E. Monsignor Corrado Lorefice, Archbishop of Palermo.

WEDNESDAY 15 JULY

SOLEMNITY OF THE FINDING OF THE BODY OF ST. ROSALIA

08.00 – 09.30 Holy Mass.
10.30 am Musical entertainment in the cathedral square and tour through the streets of the historic center by the “A. Marinuzzi” musical cultural association of the city of Palermo by Giovanni and Salvatore Bottino.
11.00 am Pontifical Eucharistic Celebration, with Papal Blessing and attached plenary indulgence, presided over by H.E. Monsignor Corrado Lorefice, Archbishop of Palermo, with the participation of the Mayor, the Authorities, the Metropolitan and Palatine Chapters, the Clergy and the Archbishop’s Seminary. It animates the Cathedral Choir, directed by Maestro Mauro Visconti.
5.30pm Holy Mass presided over by Mons. Gino Lo Galbo, Ciantro of the Metropolitan Chapter of the Cathedral.
7.00 pm City procession of the urn containing the relics of Santa Rosalia and singing of the hymn “Rosalia di rosa e di lily”. Itinerary: via M. Bonello, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Quattro Canti: Prayer of the Archbishop with Blessing of the City and Singing of the Te Deum. Piazza Marina: Message from the Archbishop to the City.
Return of the procession along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via Roma, Via Napoli, Via Bari, Giovenchi descent, Piazza S. Onofrio, via Panneria, piazza Monte di Pietà (stop in front of the first votive shrine dedicated to “Santuzza”), via Judica, via Gioiamia, via M. Bonello, return to the Cathedral. The first part of the procession is accompanied by the Palermo Band of Maestro Massimo Vella; the return from the “Cav. Michele Cascino” Band Complex.
11.00 pm Pyromusical show in the Cathedral square.
