Notice to visitors: Temporary changes to the Monumental Area on August 26 and 27.

On Tuesday, August 26, access to the Roofs of Palermo Cathedral will be temporarily suspended due to extraordinary maintenance. These works are necessary to ensure safety and the best possible experience of one of the most fascinating itineraries in our cultural offering.

During this day, the panoramic tour of the roofs will not be possible, but the internal Monumental Area will remain open as normal. We invite everyone to discover (or rediscover) the historical and artistic treasures housed within, including the Well of the Magdalene, the Crypt, the Apses, and the Treasury.

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that on Wednesday, August 27, the Monumental Area will exceptionally open at 2:30 PM to allow for the completion of ongoing technical work.

We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause and thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Each intervention is designed to enhance the visitor experience and protect the unique heritage of our Cathedral, a symbol of faith, art, and history.
