“With Santa Rosalia for Peace”: the prayer vigil animated by the Archbishop’s Seminar

Invoke the gift of peace in a time dramatically marked by conflicts and wars but also by indifference and oppression; invoke peace as a gift to be cherished and cultivated: “To be, on this earth, workers and servants of peace according to the spirit of the Beatitudes” (Mons. Corrado Lorefice).

In the long journey of the Rosalian Jubilee Year which leads us to the celebrations for the 400th Feast in honor of Santa Rosalia, on Wednesday 26 June at 9.00 pm, in the courtyard of the Cathedral Church, the Vigil for Peace was held animated by the Archbishop’s Seminary of Palermo.

The event was organized by the diocesan Office for Social and Labor Pastoral Care, by the “Hotel and Boss Together Project”, by the Policoro Project, by the Diocesan Caritas of Palermo, by the Diocesan Service for Youth Pastoral Care, by the Diocesan Consultation of Aggregations lay people and by Erripa “Achille Grandi”.
