EVENING VISIT TO THE CATHEDRAL AND THE DIOCESAN MUSEUM SATURDAY 15 JUNE

On Saturday evening we are waiting for you from 8.30pm to 12.00am (last entry: 11.30pm) to visit the monumental, architectural and artistic beauties of the Monumental Area and admire the scenic wonders of Palermo from the top of the Cathedral Roofs.
At the Diocesan Museum of Palermo and the Bishops’ Rooms, paintings, sculptures and decorative arts.

Tickets purchased online can be used on any opening day and do not expire until used.

NO RESERVATION NEEDED

In the Monumental Area of ​​the Cathedral you can visit:
– Roofs
– Treasure, with the crown of Constance of Aragon;
– Crypt, which houses the tombs of the Archbishops of Palermo;
– Royal tombs of Henry VI, Constance of Hauteville, Constance I of Aragon, Frederick II, Roger II, William of Aragon;
– Chapel of the Beneficiali.

In the 27 rooms of the Diocesan Museum, around 300 works including paintings, sculptures and decorative arts from the 12th to the 19th century are exhibited.

The visit to the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral is not permitted for heart patients, those suffering from claustrophobia, dizziness, psychophysical disabilities and anxiety attacks; furthermore, it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes.
