LAST SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER EVENING VISIT TO THE CATHEDRAL AND MUSEUM
On Saturday 30th the Cathedral, with a magnificent view from its roofs over #Palermo and the Monumental Area, awaits you from 8.30pm to 12.00am (last entry: 11.30pm) for an evening discovering the landscape, monumental, architectural and artistic beauties; the Diocesan Museum of Palermo and the Bishops’ Rooms to amaze you with paintings, sculptures and decorative arts.

Tickets can be purchased on the evening of the visit at the ticket offices of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum, or online on the website https://www.ticket-shop-cattedraledipalermo.it. Tickets purchased online can be used on any opening day and do not expire until used.
NO BOOKING NEEDED
In the Monumental Area of the Cathedral you can visit:
– Roofs
– Treasury, with the crown of Constance of Aragon;
– Crypt, which houses the tombs of the Archbishops of Palermo;
– Royal tombs of Henry VI, Constance of Altavilla, Constance I of Aragon, Frederick II, Roger II, William of Aragon;
– Chapel of the Beneficiaries.
Do not miss the visit of the roofs which allows you to admire the city of #Palermo from above with its splendid landscape and monumental riches, and to closely observe the architectural and artistic elements of the external walls of the Cathedral.
In the 27 rooms of the Diocesan Museum about 300 works are exhibited, including paintings, sculptures and decorative arts from the 12th to the 19th century.
The visit of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral is not allowed to heart patients, to those suffering from claustrophobia, vertigo, psychophysical disabilities and anxiety attacks; in addition, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
