Tickets can be purchased during the evenings at the ticket offices of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum, or online on the website https://www.ticket-shop-cattedraledipalermo.it. Tickets purchased online can be used on any opening day and do not expire until used.
NO BOOKING NEEDED
At the Monumental Area of the Cathedral, the following are waiting for you:
– Roofs
– Treasury with the crown of Constance of Aragon;
– Crypt, with the tombs of the Archbishops of Palermo;
– Royal tombs;
– Underground.
In the 27 rooms of the Diocesan Museum about 300 works are exhibited, including paintings, sculptures and decorative arts from the 12th to the 19th century.
The visit of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral is not allowed to heart patients, to those suffering from claustrophobia, vertigo, psychophysical disabilities and anxiety attacks; in addition, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
