ROOFS MONUMENTAL AREA AND DIOCESAN MUSEUM SATURDAY NIGHT

In the last weekend of July, Saturday 29, we will welcome you, from 20.30 to 00.00 (last admission: 23.30), in the splendid Arab-Norman Cathedral to admire #Palermo from the roofs, with its splendid landscape and monumental riches, and observe up close the architectural and artistic elements of the external walls, to visit the Monumental Complex and the Diocesan Museum of Palermo and the Bishops’ Rooms.

Tickets purchased online can still be used on any opening day and do not expire until used.

NO BOOKING NEEDED

In the Cathedral await you:
– Roofs
– Treasury with the crown of Constance of Aragon;
– Crypt, with the tombs of the Archbishops of Palermo;
– Royal tombs;
– Underground;
– Chapel of the Beneficiaries.

At the Diocesan Museum, on the three levels of via Matteo Bonello of the Archbishop’s Palace, about 300 works are exhibited including paintings, sculptures and decorative arts from the 12th to the 19th century spread over 27 rooms.

The visit of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral is not allowed to heart patients, to those suffering from claustrophobia, vertigo, psychophysical disabilities and anxiety attacks; in addition, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
