For the holidays, new opening hours at the Monumental Area and the Diocesan Museum.

From Wednesday 21 December to Sunday 8 January, the Monumental Area of the Cathedral (Roofs, Royal Tombs, Crypt, Apses, Treasury, Underground and Beneficial Crypt) will be open every day from 9.30 to 18, last admission 17.30. Sunday 25 December, Christmas of the Lord, from 9 to 13, last admission 12.30.

From 20 December 2022 to 7 January 2023 at the Diocesan Museum of Palermo it will be possible to visit the exhibition “IN NATIVITATE DOMINI” which welcomes the Ciminna Nativity scene accompanied by a collection of Bambinelli and the Madonna del Gattopardo, (every day from 9 to 18, last admission 17.30, Sunday 25 December from 9 to 13, last admission 12.30).

Tickets can be purchased on the day of the visit at the ticket offices of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum, or online at https://www.ticket-shop-cattedraledipalermo.it

Tickets purchased online can be used on any opening day of the Monumental Area of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum and do not expire until used.

RESERVATION IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THE VISIT

The visit of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral is not allowed to heart patients, to those suffering from claustrophobia, vertigo, psychophysical disabilities and anxiety attacks; in addition, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
