Sunday 17 July 2022 – XVI in Ordinary Time

+ From the Gospel according to Luke (10, 38 – 42)

At that time, while they were on their way, Jesus entered a village and a woman, named Martha, gave him hospitality.
She had a sister, named Mary, who, sitting at the feet of the Lord, listened to her word. Marta, on the other hand, was distracted by her many services.
Then she stepped forward and said: “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me alone to serve? Tell her therefore to help me ». But the Lord replied to her: “Martha, Martha, you worry and worry about many things, but only one thing is needed. Maria has chosen the best part of her, which she will not be taken from her ».
