EVENING VISIT OF ROOFS, MONUMENTAL AREA, CATHEDRAL AND DIOCESAN MUSEUM
We are waiting for you on Saturday 9 July from 20.30 to 00.00 (last admission 23.30) for the evening visit of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum of Palermo.
From the roofs of the Cathedral, you can admire the city of #Palermo from above with its splendid landscape and monumental riches, and closely observe the architectural and artistic elements of the external walls of the Cathedral.
It is also possible to visit:
– Treasure with the crown of Constance of Aragon;
– Crypt, with the tombs of the Archbishops of Palermo;
– Royal tombs;
– Underground;
– Chapel of the Beneficiaries.
At the Diocesan Museum there are 27 rooms on three levels, which exhibit about 300 works including paintings, sculptures and decorative arts from the twelfth to the nineteenth century.
Tickets can be purchased on the day of the visit at the ticket offices of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum, or online on the website https://www.ticket-shop-cattedraledipalermo.it
Tickets purchased online do not expire until used.
NO RESERVATION NEEDED
The visit of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral is not allowed for heart patients, those suffering from claustrophobia, dizziness, psychophysical disabilities and anxiety attacks; in addition, comfortable shoes are recommended.
