At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments; and I will pray to the Father and he will give you another Paraclete so that he will remain with you forever.
If anyone loves me, he will keep my word and my Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; and the word you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.
I have told you these things while I am still with you. But the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name, he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything that I have told you ».
